Its doesn’t get better than this.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Of the many houses we’ve stayed in throughout Europe this ranks as one of the best for comfort; quality and range of amenities; immediate environment; and location. The upstairs sitting room, with its well-tuned piano and smart TV, and outside areas, being various verandas and garden spaces, are spacious and comfortable. We didn’t use the wood fire or barbecue so maybe next time. We both do a lot of cooking and found the kitchen space entirely adequate. It isn’t huge, but it doesn’t need to be. The pool is large and deep and irresistible on a hot day. The house is situated on a hill and enjoys breathtaking views of the coast and mountains and, with windows on all sides, is light and airy. The local town is a short drive away and has all that you need if you eat in; some great tavernas; and a beautiful sea. It’s close enough to Xania to make a trip there, a must, very easy indeed and the three coasts are all within easy reach.
